To
the kids, a children outdoor

in the long vacation from school this summer. Mom and Dad should

when he asks the question in the presence of Mom later.
You can just imagine what kind of dagger looks Mom will throw in

by taking back their earlier "No", and loudly confirming
to Dad that indeed they want the children playhouse ready before
school is out.
Dad has to raise his hands in mock surrender, as the kids will now
help Mom drag Dad out to the car to go to the mall immediately and
buy the children playhouse before he makes so many silly excuses
again. Mom knows the kids will always side with
her on issues like this, because she will be the one handling the
kids in the home as Dad leaves for work in the morning.
She knows the kids will not let her down, or else she will not give
them their cold juices in the children playhouse, refreshment much
needed to quench the thirst of the young "housekeepers"
in the hot summer days ahead. She is aware of this secret weapon
of hers to get the kids to her defense in case she has to do “battle”
with Dad every now and then.
All these jokes and little arguments are all in fun, done by Dad
and Mom with their growing family to have some little recreation
at home. It takes a little imagination for Dad to maintain that
lively atmosphere always in his home to "recover" from
his daily grind in the office. |
