How to Bond with your Kids

There are times that your kids are already complaining because you spend less and less time with them because of the demands of your work and even the demands of household chore. Some times they tend to be silent and we thought that they are just fine with their toys. Most often than not, we find that our time seems to be running out and we have to make a few sacrifices. Because our kids seem to be happy playing with their toys and play doll house, we tend to ignore them and leave them to whatever they are doing. We don't know that our kids are actually looking for our attention. It is such a sad scenario that our kids are patiently waiting for us to stop on whatever we are doing and pay them attention and really notice them.

Are you one of these parents? Have you given a thought that your kid is actually patiently waiting for your time and presence? Then maybe its time that you take a pause and give them the time that they were asking for. Give your self a break from all the work and have time with your kid. Approach your kid on the wood play house and ask her if she wants some snacks and then play with her dolls. You will notice how her face would light up at your sudden attention. She would really feel happy that you are finally giving her some precious time.

Ask her how her day was and then totally involve your self with whatever she is doing. Ask the names of her dolls and toys. Sit with her on the chidren play house and join her game. You can suggest to have  a storytelling session with her using her dolls or maybe you can just let her make a story. You can also just listen to her about the stories of her dolls and you will notice how excited she is to tell the story. It is very easy to notice if your kid appreciates your presence. She becomes so lively suddenly and so happy.

Give her more sigh of affection by hugging and kissing her while playing. Be vocal also by saying that you love her. All these you can do while spending time with her at the kids play house. Just be participative of what she is doing. Give importance to the things that matters to her such as her dolls and toys. Give her attention that she needs. You will notice that she is instantly renewed and she becomes too clingy to you. This is only a sign that she had been wanting your attention.
